You had this idea;
a perfect, flawless thought
of who you wanted me to be.
You pushed and shoved,
tugged and yanked,
but I just didn't fit the bill.
No matter how hard
you tried to force it,
you couldn't make me what I'm not.
I'll never be the perfect person-
I'll never fit your cookie-cutter image.
